Communicating with Children

A major component of strong relationships is clear communication. In this session, we

will explore the many ways to communicate with children regardless of their age. After

identifying our Image of the Child, we will review how children’s abilities to communicate

change over time, and how we can respond in meaningful ways. Stages of communication will

be shared, along with how to set clear boundaries so both adults and children feel safe, secure,

and confident.
